boring weekend

you can tell because it's 8:14 and i'm busy practicing and posting.

today's feature is the first movement of triptych, by ty emerson, a graduate of peabody, who did composition, and also maybe saxophone? anyway, his name is ty emerson. isn't that awesome? clearly this guy should be famous.

i played this at the speed of light, without any rests.

today i also ran through my whole recital, because i need to turn in a sheet with the times of the pieces i'm playing. playing as slowly as humanly possible, my recital is an absolute maximum of 49 minutes. to graduate, i need to perform 50-55 minutes of music. hmm. i'm sensing a tiny conflict here. NO MOM, CLAPPING DOESN'T COUNT!!
